Welcome To Reggie Branch Poetry Portfolio!!!!

Reggie Branch (Poetry Slam)Love Poem:Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Profits are handsome,
And so are you.

Orchids are white,
Ghost ones are rare,
A light is golden,
And so is your hair.

Magnolia grows,
With buds like eggs,
My pate is bald,
And so are your legs.

Sunflowers reach,
Up to the skies,
Cheeks are pale,
And so are your eyes.

Foxgloves in hedges,
Surround the farms,
Roots are hairy,
And so are your arms.

Daisies are pretty,
Daffies have style,
My display is dazzling,
And so is your smile.

Sonnet Poem: A turtle is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite happy though.
Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,
I watch him laugh. I cry hello.
He gives his turtle a shake,
And laughs until her belly aches.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.
The turtle is delightful, quiet and deep,
But he has promises to keep,
After cake and lots of sleep.
Sweet dreams come to him cheap.
He rises from his gentle bed,
With thoughts of kittens in his head,
He eats his jam with lots of bread.
Ready for the day ahead.

Haiku Poem:Snow-clad afforest
An african, aardvark moos
in spite of the duck

Limerick Poem:There once was a man from cornwall.
Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla corn wall
It was rather south,
But not by word of mouth,
He couldn't say no to the corn wall.

Narrative Poem:One day at a pet shop,
I met a man selling bears,
For money he wanted to swap,
But I really wanted some world affairs.

"Got any world affairs?" asked I.
"For that's how I'll spend my money."
"No world affairs here!" said the guy.
He seemed to find it quite funny.

"We've got some lovely crisps,
I'll give you a very fine price."
"I'd rather have some wisps."
The man blinked rapidly thrice.

The man seemed exceptionally cute,
And his manner was strangely amused.
He wasn't what I would call astute,
Great disdain he noticeably oozed.

Like others, he thought I was odd,
Some say I'm a bit tall.
Still he gave me a courteous nod,
As if he thought I was plenty cool.

So in search of my goal I departed,
But before the pet shop could I leave,
The man came running full-hearted,
"I can help you I believe."

"Bears, world affairs, you shall find.
Crisps, wisps, you can get.
You must now open your mind,
And get down to High St Market.

So to High St Market I decided to go,
In search of the world affairs I craved.
The winds it did eerily blow.
But I felt that the day could be saved.

There were stalls selling frames,
Bears in many shades.
There were even stalls selling saint james
People were scattered from many trades

I was greeted by a peculiar lady,
She seemed to be rather tall
I couldn't help thinking she might be quite shady.
I wondered if she was at all cool.

Before I could open my mouth,
She shouted, "For you, I have some world affairs!"
I headed towards her, to the south,
Past some crisps and bears.
